Shark Tank host Erin Murphy, who was arrested for allegedly cheating on her co-hosts, has died after being found unresponsive in a hotel room in California, a Fox News affiliate reported Friday.
Murphy, 51, had been staying at the Bamboo Lodge in Los Angeles, according to the Fox affiliate.
The Fox affiliate did not immediately provide details about the circumstances of Murphy’s death.
Murphy had been on a medical leave from the network after she was arrested on charges of “abusive conduct,” the Los Angeles Police Department said.
Murphy was booked into a Santa Ana jail on Thursday.
Fox News said Murphy, a host of the popular reality show Shark Tank, was found unclothed and unresponsive on Thursday night.
She was rushed to the hospital where she died a short time later, according the Fox News report.
